About
Richard Meagher was born in Percé on the Gaspé coast in eastern Quebec by the Ocean. His father was the town Sherriff and Mayor for most of his young life and their family operated the first Québec telephone switch board around the clock from their home. His family taught him the value of hard work & dedication. Richard completed most of his schooling in Montreal and has lived in Montréal`s West Island since 1989 with his wife of 27 years, Andrea and his 3 University age daughters. Passionate about boating, he was a member of the Beaconsfield Yacht Club and an active member of the Lord Reading Yacht Club.
Richard pursued a career for over 31 years with a large high-tech corporation, Symbol Technologies, later bought out by Motorola. His various positions included Country sales management, Channel account Management and direct Sales. He was a continuous World Presidents Club award winner. Together with his team, Richard grew their business to be the largest in their industry in Canada. Building on this history of success, he has developed people skills and negotiation skills that lend themselves well to the real estate environment.
Since 2009, Richard has been working as a member of a real estate team, “Team Andrea Bourke” with his wife and top award winner, Andrea Bourke who has more than 28 years of experience in the industry. They work together with a full time customer care assistant and another broker, so that they are always available to deal with all their clients’ demands.
Over the years they have developed a vast network of industry specialist such as Building inspectors, Mortgage brokers, contractors, roofers and countless other industry professionals to help their customers buy or sell their home in the utmost of confidence.
